Industrial Insulation Names Dean Cox as Technical Support Manager

BRUNSWICK, Georgia – Industrial Insulation Group (IIG) announced today that Dean Cox has joined the company as Technical Support Manager for the newly created IIG Technical Division.  Reporting to Ricardo Gamboa, Technical Director, Dean’s primary role will be partnering with end users and specifying  engineers on today’s challenges of safety, energy conservation, emissions reduction, corrosion control, design life and more.

Prior to joining IIG, Cox was the Manager of National Accounts and Technical Services for Knauf Insulation. “Dean’s experience in the commercial and industrial insulation industry, as well as a full understanding of the nuclear, marine and assorted export markets, will add a knowledgeable resource for our customers,” said Ricardo Gamboa, Technical Director for the IIG Technical Division.  “His background lends itself to the focus of the Technical Division, to continue to expand educational programs, technical imperatives, product stewardship and support to the IIG safety commitment.”

Cox is a member of many industry organizations and has served as Past Sub-Committee Chairman for Reflective Insulation and Past Chairman of the NAIMA Commercial and Industrial Committee.  He was also instrumental in developing continuing education courses for professional engineers and is a familiar contributor to many trade groups and agencies.
